John Lamar Lang

A Bastrop native, Lamar is the son of John and Johnnie Lang who reside here in Bastrop. He is married to Lisa Book Lang and they have 2 children, Lauren and Ashton. They are members of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church.

Lamar has been associated with Golden Funeral Home since 1986 and became one of the owners in April 2008. He is a graduate of Prairie View Academy, attented Louisiana Tech University and graduated from the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He is a licensed funeral director/embalmer and insurance and monument agent. Lamar is involved in many community projects and organizations including Kiwanis International.
