Obituary of Debra Brown Sisk

Memorial service for Debra Brown Sisk is scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, March 12, 2024, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Loveday officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday, prior to the service, beginning at 1 PM. Mrs. Sisk, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Thursday, March 7, 2024, at the age of sixty-six. She was a loving mother, sister, mimi, and friend. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church who enjoyed Christmas time, cooking, listening to music (rock oldies), and spending time with her friends and family. Mrs. Sisk is survived by her daughters, Brittany Buffington (Rodney Herring), Jamie Sisk (Frankie Mitchell); sister, Lori Brown Jackson (Keith); brother, Steve Brown (Kim); grandchildren, Isabelle Sisk, Gabby Sisk, Jayden Herring, Alexander Herring, Riverton Herring, and one on the way; best friend, Nannette McLean; Aunt Jean Weddle, Uncle Mike Nealy, and Aunt Bea Nealy; niece, Falon Brown; many cousins and numerous other extended family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Luther and Maxine Brown.
